Self Spray Tans and Goals

Well. I'm about over school. So comes the time of the year when professors realize we have 3 and a half weeks of classes left and try to cram all kinds of work into these last 3 weeks. I am not amused.
So, the past few years, my stress relief has been going and taking a nice lay in the tanning bed. It works wonders to calm you down. And last year, when I was overwhelmed with schoolwork everyday of my life, you better believe I was tearing up some visits to the tanning bed. However, this year, I made it my New Year's Resolution not to go to the tanning bed anymore. I just don't want to deal with skin cancer when I'm older, and I don't need to be spending money on that when I could be spending it on something else. However, with this abundance of work that has accumulated and as I noticed just how pale I was, I broke down over the last week and went twice. I felt like a terrible person. So, last night I decided to be proactive and went to Walmart to get some spray tan. It was $10 for a can which is pretty much the equivalent to one visit to the tanning bed. So, of course last night I gave myself a little spray. I think it looks pretty nice! You're supposed to do it daily until you reach your desired color. So, I'll keep you posted on how this turns out!

In addition to me keeping my skin's best interest at heart, last night Blythe and I made some goals. We did this Fall semester. Some worked out, some didn't. Although we are about 2 months late doing these, that raises the urgency for us to succeed this last month of school! Some of mine include: getting ready for bathing suit season, drinking only water, doing my school work on time, and doing my best to get the theme of Bid Day out of Blythe since it is a secret!
I have high hopes.
So, in order to reach some of these goals, including getting school work done on time, I'll close up this post. Hope everyone has a lovely week! I personally am keeping my fingers crossed for the weather to improve by a lot by this weekend since it is Cup weekend!

Peace and Love.

March Madness

If there is one thing I willingly admit is a weakness of mine, it is sports knowledge as well as just caring about athletic events in general.
However, with the month of March has come a golden opportunity in my life: predicting the future of college basketball. I decided to fill out a bracket for this ridiculous amount of basketball games, and I must say that my bracket is doing so well!
This is serious business. I'm finding myself very invested in these games, doing as much as watching basketball out of my own free will, and cheering for teams! This is so unlike me!
What I have found myself loving the most, is whipping out random knowledge about the tournament, or even just throwing out who I have to win. It catches people off guard, and I like it.
So, to close this post, I'll just say that presently I am watching one game and constantly checking the scores of two others. This is weird.
Go Kansas!!!
Peace and love.
